Ep. 13: Why personal boundaries are KEY
Hey friends! This week is a little different... With the stress of moving across the country, I hit a bit of a road block in my creativity with the podcast. Last week I didn't even post because I was too overwhelmed. This week I chose not to have a guest, but to rather talk about some life advice I'm passionate about. This topic is a bit of a trigger for me, but I felt a strong urge to open up about my struggles with putting my own boundaries in place and holding people accountable for disrespecting them.
I decided to use my platform to help educate you all with why it's really important to have set boundaries and that it's okay to react when people break them. This story is a bit personal but it was one of the biggest life lessons I've learned with setting my own boundaries and realizing why I have the boundaries in the first place. Expressing myself with this topic and talking about my stories is me being vulnerable and I would appreciate if you guys were open minded.

Also, the definition of 'Love Bombing':
"Love bombing, however, is another story. It happens when someone overwhelms you with loving words, actions, and behaviour as a manipulation technique. It's often used to win over your trust and affection so that they can meet a goal of theirs,” explains Shirin Peykar, MA, a licensed marriage and family therapist."

**I've decided to take down my Patreon. I'm just not vining with it and I find the site to be very difficult to navigate.**
